Coaster sourcing from India.

Coasters are a programme category — most retail launches run 10-20 coaster SKUs across materials and sizes. India covers every material format: hand-cut marble from Agra, inlaid and etched brass from Moradabad, hand-carved wood from Saharanpur, embossed leather from Agra and Jaipur, hand-woven textile from Panipat.

Product subcategories

  • Marble coasters — plain, inlaid, etched
  • Mango-wood and acacia coasters
  • Brass coasters — etched, hammered, patinated
  • Embossed and vegetable-tanned leather coasters
  • Woven textile and jute coasters
  • Cork-backed hybrid coasters

Materials & finishes

Materials: White marble, Mango wood, Acacia, Brass, Vegetable-tanned leather, Cotton weave, Jute, Cork.

Finishes: Polished marble, Natural wood oil, Antique brass, Hand-stitched leather.

Cork-backing and base-protection

Our standard spec locks a cork or felt base on marble and brass coasters to prevent surface scratching — the easiest post-sale complaint to design out at $0.02 of added material cost. Buyers who skip this gate accumulate return rates that eat the SKU margin by month four.
